Lettera inviata da Nant près Vevey il 10 marzo 1882. Burnat fa avere a Gibelli un opuscolo sul viaggio alle isole Baleari e in Spagna, effettuato con Boissier, Barbey e Leresche. E’ in stampa il volume sulle rose ; per qualche tempo si occuperà di altro. Al momento si occupa di Stachys. Vorrebbe avere un frammento di Stachys Janiana descritta da Gibelli.
